In theory this is a great service and if you're sending parcels very infrequently then it's probably ok but.....if something goes wrong they are beyond useless. They say they'll respond to a problem within "4 working hours" which is open to interpretation I guess as their working hours may be wildly different from everyone else's.
My troubles began when another carrier (not related to Parcel Hero at all) incorrectly delivered some goods to Dresden when they should have been delivered to Italy. No problem, I'll get Parcel Hero to pick them up using TNT. I filled out all the paperwork, generated the labels and made sure they were attached to the cartons along with the commercial invoice. The goods were collected and the tracking instantly said "Delivered" for some reason. They sat in the depot in Dresden for a week despite me repeatedly requesting updates and trying desperately to get something done. After a week, well the cartons were delivered back to where they were picked up from previously. It now comes to light the goods need a "SAD Document" which was never asked for or even mentioned when I booked the collection. One email a day from Parcel Hero while the problem is "queried by the carrier" is simply not good enough and I have absolutely no faith in them that this will be sorted any time soon.
My advice is to avoid at all costs...great when it works but if it goes wrong you will get scant support and next to nothing will get done to sort the problem out.

Parcel collected on time and delivered quickly. Picked up Monday in Bedfordshire and delivered on Wednesday to Boston USA. Amazing service.

Posted a exhaust said it was 30kg just to be safe. When weighting it was 13.8kg. A week later USP wants £100 extra on top of the original £28 saying it was 77kg!!!! Now going to appeal see what happens. Rediculous.
